Current Position:
Assistant Scoutmaster.

Birthplace: Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pack Experience: Currently serve as the Charter Representative between Pack 51 and First Baptist Church.
Troop Experience: I have been involved with scouting in Monroe County for many years beginning in 1997 with my oldest son. My youngest son joined scouting in Monroe County in 2003 as a Tiger Cub.
Youth Scouting Experience: Was not involved with scouts as a youth.
Hobbies: Anything outdoors (hiking, camping, backpacking), reading (especially history) anything related to math and science.
Family: Wife (Michelle), 2 kids (Keith and Daniel). Live in Forsyth, work in McDonough as a Land Surveyor.
Outside Scouting Interests: Being a husband and father, working with the children’s ministry programs at First Baptist Church.

Goals for Troop 51 this year: Help every boy in Troop 51 Advance at their own rate to meet their individual goals and help them find the resources they need to do so with as much fun as they can have.
Church: Forsyth UMC, but I have LOTS of friends at Forsyth First Baptist where my daughter sings so I enjoy going to both very much.
Family: happily married for 16 years to Fred, live in Jackson with 15 year old son, now Eagle Scout, and 13 year old daughter.
Career: We have homeschooled since January 2005 so that takes up any other time I have but I also have a Bachelor's Science Nursing 2001 from Georgia College.
Hobbies outside of Scouting: learning Japanese with my daughter, I am working on learning to play the Mandolin but right now learning Japanese is easier! I love listening to good music of all varieties. I love being outdoors in nature and don't mind "roughing it".

Donna Sandusky
Current Position: Committee Member and Merit Badge Counselor
Birth Place: Huntsville, Alabama
Scouting experience: I have been scouting since December 2005 when my oldest son joined Troop 51. I vaguely remember being a Girl Scout for short while as a child. I grew up in 4-H club and earned my gold 4-H All-Star Pin in Tennessee. I attended Wood Badge SR-815 in 2007 and will be a Scouter forevermore. Oh yes, I also pulled a 13-month stint as a Webelo's Den Leader in Pack 51 in 2007-08 and loved it. Go Dynamite Patrol!

Hobbies: I love photography, drawing, gardening, sewing quilt tops,and playing outdoors with my family! I also love horseback riding, but no longer have a horse of my own.
Family Info: Happily married 18 years to John with 4 energetic sons Schuyler, Christopher, Browning and Benjamin
Favorite thing to do outside of scouting: Visiting my family in Tennessee and my Granny in Alabama.
Career: I currently home school as a career, but I worked as an editor and agriculture journalist for 14 years. I have a B.A. in Journalism from Memphis State University (now called the University of Memphis).

Started scouting with son Bladen in Troop 485 in Gray Georgia, Oct 2003 position on committee. Left 485 and joined Troop 51 Nov 29, 2004. I did not have the opportunity as a youth to be involved in scouting.
Hobbies: Woodworking, gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking.
Family info: Live in Round Oak, Ga with Wife, and Son on our family farm. Have 2 children, one son and one stepdaughter. One grandchild. Lived in Jones County on the farm most of my life except for a 10 year stint in North Georgia near Dalton .
Favorite thing outside scouting: Traveling and seeing new places with my family.

Elected to OA, Lodge 129 in 1975.
Hobbies: Camping (RV), Tropical Fish (Reef Tank).
